HOW IT WORKS
DESIGNING PROCESS

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

I like to start with one-on-one consultation call to learn more about your book, the storyline, main characters etc.

During the call we will discuss the ideas for the cover illustration and develop a concept that would represent your story the best.

After the call I will create a written overview to make sure all the details are accurate and we have a clear final cover concept.

2.
CONCEPT SKETCH
-
After the cover concept has been finalised I will create a black&white line sketch of the illustration, that shows the main elements and composition.

You can request 2 rounds of changes to finalise the sketch.

3.
FINAL ILLUSTRATION
- Once the sketch has been approved, I will create a fully hand-painted detailed illustration.

You can request 2 rounds of changes to finalise the cover illustration.
​
​
4.
COVER DESIGN & FORMATTING
- According to your chosen cover package, I will create the full design of your book cover with carefully selected typography and text layout.

This process is more back&forward so many rounds of changes can be requested.​
