With all of my cover packages you’ll receive an Exclusive Standard License, which grants your the rights to use the book cover on your ebook, printed book, audiobook and any promotional material. Exclusive license means that your book Cover Illustration will never be resold to a third party and is made exclusively for your use.
If you'd like to use the Cover Illustration for other purposes, you can add an additional license to your cover package. See options below.

Chapter illustrations are usually small spot illustrations that go together with the chapter title. These illustrations can be kept simple or be more complex, combining multiple elements. The prices below exclude illustrations with people - to get prices for chapter illustrations with characters, please get in touch.

HOW IT WORKS
DESIGNING PROCESS
READ ABOUT MY WORK FLOW
1.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

I like to begin with one-on-one consultation call to learn more about your book, the storyline, main characters, and overall vision.

During the call we'll discuss ideas for the cover illustration and develop a concept that would represent your story the best.

After the call I'll send you the final quote for the complete cover. This will be a fixed price and won't change unless you decide to add any extras during process.
2.
PAPERWORK
-
If you’re happy with the quote and would like to move forward, I'll send you a Project Agreement to sign so everything is clear and secure for both of us.

After that I’ll provide a pre-payment invoice. My standard is 60% upfront and 40% after the project is completed, but if needed, a 40%/30%/30% payment plan can also be arranged.

Once the pre-payment is received, I'll prepare a written overview to confirm all the details and ensure we have a clear, finalised cover concept before moving ahead.
3.
CONCEPT SKETCH
-
Once the cover concept is finalised, I’ll create a black&white line sketch of the illustration that outlines the main elements and overall composition.

At this stage, you can request 2 rounds of revisions to refine and finalise the sketch.
5.
COVER DESIGN & FORMATTING
- Based on your chosen cover package, I’ll then design the full book cover with carefully selected typography and a polished text layout.

This part of the process is more back&forward so many rounds of changes can be requested.
4.
FINAL ILLUSTRATION
- After the sketch is approved, I will create a fully hand-painted detailed illustration.

And again you’ll have 2 rounds of revisions to finalise the cover illustration.
